Click on a rider to pledge your support
Raised so far: $5,710.00
How it works
USO riders sign up for the event. Each rider is given a profile to promote and collect sponsors.
||Sponsors pledge their support.|
||All you need to do is climb 5000vm over three consecutive days between 24 Oct -01 Nov 2020.*|
||We reach our goal of raising $10,000 for our kids on bikes charity (2 schools in Porirua).|
* You can use either a hill or a smart trainer. Can be split into multiple rides. You will need to be a strava member.
Sponsors, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay your sponsored amount after the athlete has achieved their goal (email sent first week of November). Payment will be via our Charity's Givealittle page and donate there. Any questions, please contact us.
The goal is to raise enough money to fit out Natone Park School and Cannons Creek School with brand new bikes. To do this we need to raise $10,000.
About Ride Holidays & USO
Ride Holidays and USO Bike Ride have formed a close relationship since 2011. USO is the Samoan word for brother but more importantly for Uso Bike Ride the acronym USO represents the kaupapa behind Uso Bike Ride. A whanau united in promoting the health and wellbeing of communities through cycling. Both Ride Holidays and USO have similar values and also the common goal, desire to help more kids ride bikes. In October we will be joining forces to provide bikes to two Porirua schools and we would love it if you could pledge your support.
Karl Woolcott, Dean Mills and Chris Wood have been successfully organising cycling holidays since 2005 and have helped thousands of lycra-clad Kiwis and Australians cycle all around the world. Ride Holidays' tours are designed with the perfect mix of cycling, eating at fantastic restaurants and cafes as well as exploring the very best of what the location has to offer.
