The goal is to raise enough money to fit out Tiaho School Wairoa with brand new bikes. This small school is doing great things. They’re completely rebuilding. There’s plans underway for a concrete bike track. One thing they don’t have is bikes. That’s where we would like to help. To do this we need to raise $12,000. If we raise more then we'll simply buy more bikes.
Any cyclist can take on this challenge. You don’t need to be from within the Hawkes Bay. All you need to know is that your hard work will help a kid ride a bike!! Some of those kids will ride for the first time.
The cyclists below are going to ride 5000 vertical meters. Quite the challenge. All for a good cause. If you can’t ride, please help us by sponsoring one of the cyclists below.

How it works
||Cyclists sign up as a rider. Each cyclist is given a profile to promote and collect sponsors.|
||Sponsors pledge their support. All donations are tax deductible.|
||All you need to do is climb 5000vm over three consecutive days between 6-14 August 2022.*|
||We reach our goal of raising $12,000 which will allow us to gift bikes and helmets to Tiaho School Wairoa.|
*You can ride either inside or out. Can be split into multiple rides. Ideally you would be on strava and join the RH club.
Sponsors, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay your sponsored amount. You can choose to pay before or after your sponsored cyclist has achieved their goal. Payment will be made via our Charity's Givealittle page. Donations over $5 are eligible for a NZ charitable giving tax receipt. Taka Trust (Ride Holidays official charity partner) is a registered charity number CC52630. Any questions, please contact us.
We are always looking for new groups to take up the challenge.
You can even pick the school. The more kids on bikes, the better.

About Ride Holidays
Karl Woolcott, Dean Mills and Chris Wood have been successfully organising cycling holidays since 2005 and have helped thousands of lycra-clad Kiwis and Australians cycle all around the world. Ride Holidays' tours are designed with the perfect mix of cycling, eating at fantastic restaurants and cafes as well as exploring the very best of what the location has to offer.
We recognise that not everyone is lucky enough to ride bikes and travel the world. We love supporting schools that are making a difference. Tiaho School Wairoa is certainly doing just that. We would love it if you could pledge your support.
